This information is for TACKLE FOOTBALL
TEAMS: EAGLES, BROWNS, BENGALS, CHIEFS, DOLPHINS, RAVENS
With the Tiffin Youth Football season start date quickly approaching we wanted to reach out and touch base with some important information and reminders. Please make sure you read the information for your division for the right information. Emails with the information were also sent out.
This information is for TACKLE FOOTBALL
*** Practices will start Tuesday July 29th from 5:30-7pm at the TYF football fields (across from the YMCA) and will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:30-7pm (3 practices per week).
***Tackle Football: We will be handing out helmets, shoulder pads, and pants at the first practice. Please if possible, try and be sure to make it to that first practice to get your gear.
**Games will start on Sunday August 17th and the last games will be on October 5th. All games will be at 2pm at Frost Kalnow Stadium. Watch for an official game schedule soon.
***If inclement weather arises, messages will be posted on Facebook and sent out from coaches about adjustments.
***Tackle Football: Athletes will need cleats. Cleats are not provided by the league you must get your own cleats. Cleats are less slippery on turf than a basic tennis shoe. We do have some used ones if you would like to look through them let us know.
**Please bring a water bottle to practice/game WITH YOUR
ATHLETES NAME marked on the bottle.

Although the format of our league looks different than in the past the core values remain and our goal is to try and keep the league free for the area youth. There are a few ways that you can help us to accomplish this! This diagram shows the cost associated with each athlete that comes through our program each year. Several board members continue to work very hard to continue the over 45 year tradition of TYF being a free to play league. You can help in a few different ways:
1- Become a hole sponsor or event sponsor at the upcoming golf outing. Let us know if you would like a sponsor form.
2- Organize a team and register for the TYF Golf Scramble. Don't golf? Share the flyer with friends and family that do. Encourage them to come out for a great time and support our local youth football league. https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSdmTTSLLjQ.../viewform...
3- Book a night at KALAHARI under the TYF Football fundraiser link. Any room booked through that link not only allows you to book a room at a discounted rate of $139, but also helps raise funds for us. https://book.passkey.com/e/50950098

This information is for Padded Flag
